Veteran's Day

Give honor and respect to all those to whom it is due.
~ Romans 13:7 TLB

Father, I thank You for the many brave men and women who have fought for the freedoms we hold so dear. For their unselfish sacrifice and service to our country. For those who have gone before... for those who currently serve. Cradle our service men and women in your ever protecting care. Bless and keep their families as they are far a part.

... and Lord, I thank You for our ultimate freedom fighter Jesus Christ. Amen

Thank you for your post. My father and grandfather both served as well as Mike's father and uncle.

Thanks for this special post. As you can read from my sister's comment, my father and grandfather both served in the military. Living where we do now (Dayton, Ohio area & Wright Patterson AFB) we have several friends who are in the military. I have a good friend whose husband is currently serving for the next year in Kuwait. May God bless all those who are serving and fighting for our freedom!

Thank you for this. I put our flag out early this morning as a tribute to our veterans. Friends of ours lost their son in the war a few months ago, so it means even more to us this year.

Thank you for your tribute to our men and women, and their families, who are serving to keep us free. It's good to take time to reflect on what our freedom has cost--the lives of many men and women. Thanks!. Donna
