Which Thanksgiving Side Dish Are You?

I thought this was really cute and fun...

Which Thanksgiving Side Dish Are You?

Here are my Results!

I am Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. (which I find rather humorous since I really don't like mashed potatoes all that much - however, my hubby loves them... so I guess that's why he loves me!)

You find comfort in familiarity and like things that go together. Milk and cookies. Bacon and eggs. Where would mashed potatoes be without the gravy? This Thanksgiving, your plate is sure to feature this classic combo.

So friends... tell me... Which Thanksgiving Side Dish Are You?

I'm also mashed potatoes and gravy--which I guess is good because I love them. As with most quizzes, sometimes there wasn't an answer that was really me.

Hope you have a good holiday. (I know! I'm at least a week early!) Donna

Who knew I was a Roasted Root Vegetable! Certainly not me! My question is this though....who skips the chocolate chip cookie for an apple?!

Thanks for sharing this! It was fun!

Looks like from the results here and also online that 60% + are mashed potatoes closely followed by roasted root veggies. I think I'll take mashed potatoes.

I have to admit some of the questions did not have an accurate answer for me though.

Paula

Agghhh, I just took the quiz and on the results page, something happened and it didn't work! I'll have to try again later... thanks for the fun link. Have a wonderful day!!!

You are undoubtedly
Green-Bean Casserole.

You value convenience and efficiency and don't mind taking shortcuts if the results turn out just as good. Canned soup? No problem. It's tradition. This year, add a few extra fried onions.

I think, thus far, this makes me a loner in this category. I would guess that not many of you would want to venture over for a meal, but I sure would like to come to yours!

My result was the roasted root vegetables. I admit I had to force a decision on some of the questions because none of answer choices were "my" answers. Like the last question about the favorite winter drink. I like tea or decaf mocha latte...no Baileys added, no straight hot chocolate and I don't make my own cider. lol

Mashed Potato and gravy...that's me all the way and I wouldn't have it any other way:)

I demand a retake! There is no way I am mashed potatoes and gravy. I HATE mashed potatoes... we never, ever have them, not even on Thanksgiving even though all of my traitorous children LOVE them. I want to be green bean casserole!

I am Roasted Root Vegetables, and I think that answer fit me.

Many southern Thanksgivings do not have mashed potatoes. Sweet potatoes, yes. Dressing, yes. Mashed potatoes, no. It's been interesting to me to see all the people on FNTV saying that mashed potatoes have always been on everyone's Thanksgiving menus. Not that they aren't good. They just aren't part of Thanksgiving. Food traditions are so fascinating.

Roasted Root Vegetables.

It may be a season of indulgence, but you keep things in check. Health is important to you, and you strive to make sure you can have your cake, but not eat too much of it.

I'm another mashed potatoes and gravy... I'd rather be sweet potatoes! I could live without the mashed potatoes...thanks! Or, I'd rather be pecan pie or cranberry sauce. I better stop... this post made me hungry!!!
Thanks for the fun!
Love,
Angie xoxo

I love your blog....it's so pretty.

I live in Indiana too. I'm south of Indy in North Vernon.
I'm from Florida...so this is an exciting place to be when the season's change.

I'll come back and see ya again sometime.

Okay, I am a little late commenting here but wanted to get in on the action. ;/)

I am roasted root vegetables. And I too, want to know who would go for and apple when there are chocolate chip cookies around? Thank you for the fun, it was great!

This was so fun and funny! I, too, am mashed potatoes and gravy - I like the potatoes, but not the gravy! I had to laugh at myself - apparently, I don't like to cook, and it shows up especially when I take these types of quizzes. :-) Thanks for the fun. I may use this next week, if you don't mind. (I'll link to your site when I do.)

Have a great day...
