~ WFW ~ Come Unto Me...

It's been some time since I have participated in a Word Filled Wednesday. I haven't been blogging as much as I would like due to a busy work schedule etc. You can read about that here

With my busy schedule the words from the Gospel of Matthew just fell on my heart....

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

~ Matthew 11:28-30

Of course I needed a photo to go along w/ the word... and I thought of this picture I took of my sweet dog (he is a whippet) Jet. He loves to snuggle under the covers and rest his head on the pillows. Ah to be able to rest in Jesus as my pup rests in our bed.

The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word through photo’s & a Bible verse! To be blessed by more Word Filled Wednesdays - please visit

Extravagant Grace

A wonderful verse and spoiled baby dog, I would say. I have a picture of a little dog I used to have, in my daughter's big bed, so cute.

I guess it's been awhile since I've been here. I like the green/yellow and your new house header.

Perfect contribution! Thanks for sharing! You're at least the second person to pick this verse. And it speaks to me as much this time as the others. May you be refreshed in the Lord!

Summer is in full swing over here! I'm glad to hear that business is picking up for you and that your Bible study of Esther is ongoing. I should have done a study this summer, but honestly, I was worn out after we finished Esther in April. I'm glad for the break as I, too, facilitate the studies over here.

On another note, talked to Maxie this week. He is so very dear to my heart for so many reasons! I won't be able to think about him again without thinking about all of you gathered together in IN.

One of my favorite verses, friend. Thanks for that post. I'm days behind, but it is a blessing to me this very moment. Love to you... Jennifer
