Father in Heaven there is no greater freedom than than the freedom we have from sin and death that You have given to me in Jesus. I praise and thank you especially today for that gift!
Today, being the 4th of July - America's Independence Day, I am reminded of all those who have sacrificed for my freedom, following the example of Jesus. I pray that I do not take my freedom, both physical and spiritual, for granted. May I always remember that my freedom was purchased with a very high price. The cost of Your son, and the cost of many sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters.... may you comfort those serving, comfort those missing loved ones.
Lord I want to live a life that glorifies You, to be a blessing in someone elses life. I thank You today, that in this Country I can worship You freely! Amen
